We are pleased with your interest in Hawai‘i Football and hope many of your questions about UH-Mānoa and the Hawai‘i Football program can be answered here. The Rainbow Warriors have enjoyed national success through the years, most recently with an appearance in the 2008 Allstate Sugar Bowl, the school’s first BCS bowl. Former athletes have gone on to successful professional careers, including a number in the NFL. Hawai‘i football has featured record-breaking quarterbacks, including all-time NCAA passing leader Timmy Chang and Heisman Trophy finalist Colt Brennan.  

Facilities Overlooking the turquoise waters of Pearl Harbor lays the home of the University of Hawai‘i’s football team, Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium. The 50,000-seat facility has been home to the state of Hawai‘i’s only Division I football team since 1975 and also home to the NFL’s Pro Bowl for more than 30 years. The Rainbow Warriors practice at Ching Field which is part of the new Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex. The complex includes a three-story building and grandstand seating for approximately 2,500 and supports a wide variety of activities and events. In addition, the Alec Waterhouse Training Facility is a 10,000-square foot facility which features state of the art equipment.  

Contact Information  Please note that coaches are NOT allowed to call or return your calls until after July 1st prior to your senior year in high school. However, you are allowed to call the coaches at any time. If a prospective student-athlete writes a letter or emails a coach, the coach is not allowed to reply until September 1st of your junior year in high school.
