The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa welcomes you to the “Hawai‘i Athletics ‘Ohana,” an interactive guide to the UH Athletics Department. We are pleased with your interest in Hawai‘i Softball and hope many of your questions about UH-Mānoa and the Rainbow Wahine softball program can be answered here.
The Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium has been home to the University of Hawai‘i softball team since 1998, and has seen the program grow into a national contender over the years. The stadium seats 1,200 and features a press box, a batting house, additional batting cages, an athletic training room and a team club house. The RWSS also has played host to the 2008 Western Athletic Conference Tournament; Team USA in 2000 and 2007; and several high school and community tournaments as well.
Please note that coaches are NOT allowed to call or return your calls until after July 1st prior to your senior year in high school. However, you are allowed to call the coaches at any time. If a prospective student-athlete writes a letter or emails a coach, the coach is not allowed to reply until September 1st of your junior year in high school.
