The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa welcomes you to the “Hawai‘i Athletics ‘Ohana,” an interactive guide to the UH Athletics Department. The sailing program is led by College Sailing Hall of Fame coach Andy Johnson, who has guided the school to nearly 50 national championship events. We are pleased with your interest in Hawai‘i Sailing and hope many of your questions about UH-Mānoa and the Rainbow Wahine and coed sailing programs can be answered here.
Facilities The Honolulu Community College Marine Education and Training Center houses the University of Hawai‘i sailing teams. The facility has been touted as the best of its kind any where in the world, housing a complex of classrooms, work bays, laboratories, offices and a library. The sailing team stores its boats at the building, which can accommodate six boats in dock and 15 others on the boat house racks.
