CROSS COUNTRY AND TRACK & FIELD
The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa welcomes you to the “Hawai‘i Athletics ‘Ohana,” an interactive guide to the UH Athletics Department. We are pleased with your interest in the Hawai‘i Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs and hope many of your questions about UH-Mānoa and the Rainbow Wahine Cross Country and Track & Field programs can be answered here.
The Clarence T.C. Ching Field features a unique, eight-lane rainbow-colored track. In addition, the facility features long jump and triple jump pits and high jump and pole vault areas. The field is part of the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex which includes a three-story building on the northeast side of the existing field and supports a wide variety of activities and events, and provides grandstand seating for approximately 2,500. The complex also includes two competition courts for the women’s sand volleyball team. The cross country team hosts one meet each year – Big Wave Invitational – at the picturesque Kane‘eohe Klipper Golf Course on Marines Corps Base Hawai‘i.
Please note that coaches are NOT allowed to call or return your calls until after July 1st prior to your senior year in high school. However, you are allowed to call the coaches at any time.
